Westfield Santa Anita Japanese Restaurant
December 30, 2008
Arcadia, CA December 30, 2008 – Tokyo Table Arcadia, the favorite local restaurant for exciting Tokyo City-style Japanese cuisine, has introduced several new menu items by popular request. Value-conscious lunch specials, bento boxes and new sushi rolls round out a menu noted for its diverse influences of ethnic cuisines throughout Asia and the world.
Starting at $8.95, the new lunch special menu features Tokyo Table favorites, such as Chicken Kaarage (Japanese-style fried chicken), Mongolian Beef and Tempura, served with rice, miso soup, edamame and salad. The Healthy Bento Box contains California and Spicy Tuna rolls and Tokyo Table’s signature house-made silken tofu, for those watching their diet.
On the main menu, Tokyo Table now has three ramen dishes – spicy miso, shoyu, and the rich pork-bone based tonkotsu, served with traditional accompaniments. Also new are the Cohiba roll (California roll topped with salmon and citrus-ginger sauce) and two rice-paper wrapped “summer rolls” (spicy tuna or shrimp), filled with fresh ingredients like avocado, jicama, lettuce and cucumber. Larger plates, such as Tokyo-style steak, chicken teriyaki and salmon are now available as a bento box, served with pork gyoza edamame and rice.
ABOUT TOKYO TABLE:
Tokyo Table focuses on modern yet authentic Japanese cuisine, complemented by tastes from other Asian and world cultures. This creates a distinct flavor profile, different from the majority of Japanese restaurants found in the United States. Not limited to sushi and teriyaki, Tokyo Table offers a variety of family-style dishes including: Fresh Homemade Tofu, Sushi Pizza, Chicken Kaarage and Ishiyaki-style sizzling Unagi rice, among dozens of other original dishes meant for sharing. An impressive menu of fresh fruit saketinis and shochu beverages rounds out a diverse sake list.
